I’ve had a silversmithing shop in my home since 2015, and have taken several classes as well as learned from experience.
I love that silversmithing is a miniature form of sculpture that I can pursue in my small San Francisco home, and currently only produce jewelry for myself and my family. I stick to silver because I don’t sell my pieces and do not consider myself competent enough yet for gold, which is an order of magnitude more expensive.
